Bio
Ruby Jackson is a singer-songwriter, composer and arranger based in Sydney!
During her high school years, Ruby fell in love with jazz music when she discovered the magic of Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole and Julie London. This passion inspired her to study composition at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she honed in on her writing skills.
Today Ruby is one of Sydney’s most authentic, world-class performers and composers of music in RnB & Jazz. 2024 has seen Jackson sell out headline shows, perform extensively throughout the Sydney Jazz scene, and recently receive an Australian Independent Record nomination for Best Independent R&B/Soul album.
Ruby’s studio is open to all music lovers! Any age & level. Whether you are keen on singing lessons, songwriting/composing workshops, beginner guitar or aural lessons, Ruby will help you in finding your voice and sound!

I am very happy to travel to you! Otherwise I have a lovely home studio set up.
