Bio

Hey, I’m Ryan! I’m a bass player and international touring artist best know for my role in the Australian electro jazz band Brekky Boy. I’ve been playing for 20 years, studied at the Australian Institute of Music, regularly tour Europe, North America and Asia and I’m well established in the Sydney music scene with 15 years of experience in professional live music.

I’m specialised in Contemporary, pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, fusion, prog and I have a particular love of classical music.

I’m now living in Woolongong

Technique, theory, listening and reading are fundamental to playing and learning bass so those are the focus but I also love the technological side (pedals, basses and other gear) and consider it incredibly important to refining and exploring possibilities of modern sound.
