Bio
I am a young, energetic, cellist, with six years of teaching experience. I completed the Bachelor of Music Performance degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2024, under Julian Smiles. At the Conservatorium, I studied pedagogy under Dr Goetz Richter, as well as other various Music Education subjects.
I’m an experienced, dedicated and passionate cello teacher, and lead my students through AMEB grade exams, having receiving my AmusA in 2019 and LmusA in 2023. I teach students of all levels and ages, and am devoted to ensuring they reach their full potential with cello and music. I currently teach at Shore School and with the Amadeus program at catholic schools across Sydney. I have also worked with The Sydney Youth Orchestra’s holiday programs.
I have performed in masterclasses with English cellist, Matthew Barley and Axel Von Huene from the Gewandhaus Orchestra. I love chamber playing and have performed for weddings, corporate events and in concerts, on Cruise Ships, in the Utzon Room, at The Opera House and International convention centre, some with brands including, Ferrari, and FIFA. I have been a member of the Sydney Youth Orchestra, from 2017-2021. I also regularly perform with The Modest Orchestra, The Sydney Concert Orchestra, and The Southern Cross Symphony Orchestra.
