Bio

Maimi was born in Osaka, Japan in 23.3.1993. She stated piano when she was 9 years old. And French horn when she was 12 years old.

She then got a certificate for childcare kindergarten teacher and baby sitter in Osaka.

While she was working as a kindergarten teacher in Osaka, she started to go private horn lesson by Professor in Kyoto University of Art and Design).

Also joined at Newphilharmonic Osaka.

After 4 years working at Kindergarten, in 2017 she moved to Germany and started Bachelor study at Freiburg Music University for French horn. At the same time she worked as a private horn teacher and as a private babysitter.

In 2020 She graduated and moved to Switzerland and started Master study at University of the Arts Bern for French horn performance. At the same time studied natural horn.
