Tom is a breath of fresh air! Learning to play the guitar in your 30’s is challenging. Having a teacher has been vital to cultivate my confidence, passion and skills. Right from learning chords, understanding rhythm and tailoring lessons to meet individual goals; Tom goes above and beyond. Most importantly, I enjoy Tom’s energy, genuine care and teaching style. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference when it comes to learning a new skill.

Tom's guitar course is perfect for beginners. It’s well-structured and easy to follow, thanks to Tom's extensive experience. He breaks down complex techniques into simple steps, creating an effective and enjoyable learning environment. Highly recommended for anyone new to playing guitar.

Alan

I love learning guitar with Studios FiftyOne! I'm a beginner, and have really enjoyed my first year. Tom is consistently patient, encouraging and helpful. He totally meets you where you are each week. He gives lots of strategies (different ways to practise) to help you make progress even when life gets busy and practise time is limited. I'm so excited about my progress so far. I highly recommend this business!

Annie

My son loves learning guitar with Tom! He is a very patient and knowledgeable instructor. He spends time on important technique and theory, whilst still keeping lessons fun and teaching loads of great repertoire. The online mode of lesson delivery is enhanced by his very capable use of technology and he sends through resources and recordings for my son to work with during home practice. Tom’s program is systematic and yet also flexible - he has happily encouraged my son’s musical and song interests where they lead!

Amanda

Tom is a great teacher who caters the lessons to your level and musical interests. If you’re an adult thinking about picking up an instrument for the first time I’d definitely recommend him.
